The Tour Program
THE TOUR
We begin our Central Zagori e-bike tour at the region’s most famous landmark: the spectacular, single-arched Kokkori Bridge. Standing dramatically between two sheer vertical cliffs, it is a true masterpiece of 18th-century engineering. After a comfortable technical briefing and personally fitting your e-bike, we start our ride through what feels like an open-air museum. Within just ten minutes, we reach the unique, three-arched Plakida (or Kalogeriko) bridge, stopping to photograph its beautiful, caterpillar-like design. Continuing smoothly toward the traditional village of Kipi, we pass the lonely Lazaridis bridge, letting the electric assist make the journey completely effortless.
Leaving the impressive stone mansions of Kipi behind, we ride for about 45 minutes through the stunning nature of Zagori. Here, we transition safely from the quiet asphalt onto a beautiful forest road. Surrounded by thick oak and pine trees, this highly scenic section connects us deeply with the peaceful mountain landscape. We soon arrive at Negades, a historic village that once thrived with immense wealth and culture. Taking a relaxing break in the quiet square, we explore the imposing Church of Agios Georgios, a massive basilica that perfectly highlights the village’s glorious past (interior visit if open). Following a breezy, 15-minute downhill ride from the village, we reach a secluded spot in nature to set up our signature Bikewise Picnic. Here, you have the option to enjoy a refreshing dip in a secret swimming spot, either before or after tasting our authentic homemade food in the crisp open air. Once we’re ready, we embark on a highly rewarding return ride, closing our loop exactly where we began-at the highly photogenic Kokkori bridge.

Frequently Asked Questions
I see we ride on a "forest road." Is this mountain biking? Will it be bumpy or dangerous?
Not at all! We are not doing extreme mountain biking. The forest road we use is wide, smooth, and well-maintained. Your e-bike is equipped with front suspension and wide tires that absorb any minor bumps, making the transition from asphalt to dirt road feel incredibly stable and safe. It is simply a beautiful way to ride away from cars and closer to nature.
Will I get tired riding uphill to the villages?
No, you will not feel the strain. We designed this route specifically for our e-bikes. The electric motor will do all the heavy lifting during any uphill sections, making it a completely sweat-free, relaxing experience suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
