Trip Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to the Emerald Island (Arrival & E-Bike Fitting)
Your relaxing, guided cycling holiday in the Ionian Sea begins today! We gather at our comfortable partner hotel in the coastal area of Gouvia, which will serve as our welcoming home base for the trip.
Upon your arrival, you will meet your dedicated local guide for a relaxed but thorough safety briefing. We will take all the time needed to personally fit you to your e-bike, ensuring the saddle height and handlebar position are perfectly adjusted for your absolute comfort over the coming days. We will also walk you through the simple “Turbo” functions of the bike, so you feel completely confident before we even hit the road.
Later in the evening, depending on your flight schedule, we will all sit down together at a traditional local restaurant for a heartwarming welcome dinner. It is the perfect opportunity to sample authentic Corfiot cuisine, share a glass of wine, get to know your fellow travelers, and discuss the beautiful routes we will be exploring across the island.
To make your first day completely stress-free, we are more than happy to arrange a private transfer directly from Corfu Airport to our hotel base in Gouvia upon request.
Day 2
The Olive & Wine Route (Panoramic North Corfu)
After breakfast, our e-bikes make the gentle ascent toward the picturesque village of Ano Korakiana effortless. Reaching the traditional settlement of Sokraki, we pause for a classic Greek coffee and a taste of Corfu’s famous sweet Kumquat. While there, we also visit a charming, family-run museum to uncover the secrets of the island’s “liquid gold” olive oil.
Riding along the lush mountain ridge through Troumpeta and Makrades, we arrive at Lakones. Here, we take our time to rest and photograph the world-renowned “Bella Vista” viewpoint, offering sweeping, postcard-perfect views over the striking bays of Paleokastritsa.
A smooth, breezy descent brings us right to the Ionian coastline for a delicious seaside lunch in Paleokastritsa. You will have plenty of time for a highly refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters (and remember, we provide the fresh swimming towels!).
We finish our daily ride by cycling back into the island’s green interior to visit a renowned local winery. After a rewarding private tasting of rare indigenous grapes like Kakotrygis, our support vehicle comfortably transfers us back to our Gouvia hotel. We wrap up this beautiful active day at a traditional tavern, enjoying hearty food and live Greek music.

Day 3
Royal Paths & The Mainland Crossing (Corfu to Parga)
Leaving our Gouvia base, we enjoy a beautiful morning ride south, passing the elegant highlights of Corfu Town until we reach Kanoni. Here, we experience one of the trip’s most memorable moments: gently cycling across the narrow pedestrian bridge over the lagoon. With the iconic Pontikonisi (Mouse Island) in the background and airplanes flying safely just meters above our heads as they approach the runway, it is a truly spectacular photo opportunity.
We continue our relaxed e-bike tour down the beautiful eastern coastline, riding through Perama, Benitses, and Moraitika. With the sparkling Ionian Sea constantly on our left, the flat, scenic seaside road makes for an incredibly pleasant and effortless ride. Midday calls for a well-deserved break at a traditional seaside tavern, where we stop for a delicious lunch and a refreshing swim right by the waves.
In the afternoon, we reach the southern port of Lefkimmi and board the ferry for a relaxing, scenic crossing to Igoumenitsa on the Greek mainland. From there, our comfortable support bus transfers us to the picturesque town of Parga, often called the “Epirus Riviera.” After checking into our new hotel, you have free time to stroll through Parga’s colorful alleys or enjoy an evening dip at Kryoneri beach, before we gather for a wonderful dinner at a local tavern.

Day 4
From Sea to Summit (Parga to the Zagori Stone Villages)
Leaving the coastal charm of Parga behind, we board our comfortable support bus for a scenic morning transfer. After a relaxing coffee stop in the vibrant lakeside city of Ioannina, we reach the mountain village of Asprangeli in the renowned Zagori region. Here, we reunite with our e-bikes and begin our beautiful transition from the sea to the alpine summits.
Thanks to the electric assist of our bikes, the mountain ascent feels completely effortless as we ride through the fascinating limestone pillars of the “Stone Forest.” We soon arrive at the Oxya Viewpoint, where you can safely stand at the edge of the world’s deepest canyon. Looking down into the sheer, dramatic drop of the spectacular Vikos Gorge is a truly breathtaking experience.
Continuing our ride, we pedal smoothly through the beautiful, traditional stone villages of Monodendri and Vitsa. A gentle, sweeping descent brings us to the iconic Kokkori Stone Bridge, an 18th-century architectural masterpiece that provides the perfect backdrop for a group photo.
As we gently climb toward Kapesovo, we pause to view the legendary Vradeto Steps from a distance, while our local guide shares the fascinating history of this hand-built stone path. Our day concludes in the beautifully preserved village of Tsepelovo. After checking into our traditional guesthouse, we gather for a heartwarming dinner featuring authentic Zagorian recipes, including their famous handmade pies and rich local meats.

Day 5
The Alpine Loop & The Nomadic Forests (Tsepelovo to Konitsa)
Leaving the stone alleys of Tsepelovo behind, our Northern Greece e-bike tour takes us deeper into the pristine landscapes of the Pindus Mountains. Our e-bikes make the forested routes incredibly smooth as we pass through the quiet village of Skamneli. We soon arrive at Gyftokampos to explore the Sarakatsani Open Air Museum, stepping back in time among the traditional straw huts of Greece’s ancient nomadic shepherds.
Continuing our panoramic Tymfi mountain loop, we take a relaxing break in Vrysochori to admire the breathtaking, untouched peaks of Tsouka Rossa. From this beautifully rugged alpine setting, we enjoy a long, sweeping, and totally effortless descent right down to the magnificent, crystal-clear waters of the Aoos River.
Using our reliable electric assist, we smoothly climb back up toward Palaioselli. This village hides a fascinating architectural curiosity: the historic stone Church of Agia Paraskevi, which famously tilts even more than the Tower of Pisa! After capturing some photos, we pedal to the peaceful village of Elefthero to sit down at a traditional, welcoming kafeneio for a highly authentic, heartwarming local lunch.
For the final leg of today’s journey, we quietly cycle through dense, shaded forests until we reach the vibrant mountain town of Konitsa. After comfortably checking into our hotel and taking time to rest, we gather for a well-deserved, delicious dinner to celebrate our successful crossing from Zagori to Konitsa.

Day 6
The Secret Villages of Pogoni & The Balkan Crossing (Konitsa to Gjirokaster)
Leaving Konitsa behind, our exciting cross-border cycling holiday officially begins. We enjoy a quiet, refreshing morning ride through the lush green forests of Bourazani, closely following the flow of the river. Soon, our electric bikes help us smoothly and effortlessly climb toward the undiscovered Pogoni villages, including Vasiliko, Vissani, and Delvinaki. This specific area is a true Epirus hidden gem, remaining completely untouched by mass tourism. It is historically famous as the proud birthplace of the hauntingly beautiful Epirus polyphonic music, recognized globally by UNESCO. Riding past the grand, imposing stone mansions built by 19th-century benefactors feels like pedaling through a quiet, living museum. We will take our time here, pausing in a peaceful village square for a traditional Greek coffee and a relaxed local lunch.
In the early afternoon, we reach the Kakavia border. After a smooth and organized passport check, we cross into southern Albania, and here we offer you complete travel flexibility. If you are feeling energetic and want to keep logging miles on your e-bike, you can continue cycling the scenic route all the way to our final destination. Alternatively, if you prefer to rest your legs after the border crossing, you can simply hop into our comfortable support vehicle and enjoy a highly relaxing, air-conditioned transfer for the remainder of the afternoon.
We finish our day in the spectacular destination of Gjirokaster, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site famously known as the “Stone City.” After safely checking into our new hotel, you have plenty of free time to walk through the beautifully preserved cobblestone bazaar and admire the unique Ottoman-era architecture. In the evening, our group will gather at a local tavern for a rich, traditional Albanian dinner, celebrating our successful and comfortable crossing into the Balkans.

Day 7
The Stone Fortress, The Blue Eye & The Albanian Riviera (Gjirokaster to Saranda)
After a wonderful breakfast, we intentionally slow our pace to fully appreciate the rich culture of the “Stone City.” Before hitting the road, we spend our morning visiting the towering Gjirokaster Fortress. Perched high above the old cobblestone bazaar, this massive, well-preserved castle offers magnificent, sweeping views over the entire Drino Valley. We will take our time exploring its history and walking past traditional Ottoman-era tower houses, getting a fascinating glimpse into the elite lifestyle of the 19th-century Balkans.
By late morning, we saddle up our e-bikes and leave the valley behind, enjoying a smooth, fully supported ride toward the southern coast. Our main destination today is one of Albania’s most famous natural wonders: the Blue Eye (Syri i Kalter). We safely park our bikes and take a peaceful, shaded stroll through a dense oak forest to reach this mesmerizing, incredibly deep natural spring. The vibrant, crystal-clear blue and green colors of the water bubbling up from the earth are simply unforgettable. It is a wonderfully tranquil spot to rest, take photos, and enjoy a relaxed lunch under the trees.
For the final cycling stretch of our holiday, we enjoy a breezy, effortless descent right down to the sparkling Ionian Sea, arriving at the lively coastal town of Saranda. Often referred to as the vibrant capital of the Albanian Riviera, this beautiful seaside destination welcomes us with its warm climate and palm-lined promenade. After comfortably checking into our hotel, you have free time to relax by the water or explore the town center at your own pace. In the evening, our group will gather at a lovely seaside restaurant to enjoy fresh local seafood, raise a glass of wine, and toast to our amazing journey from the Greek mountains to the Albanian coast.
